6 Benefits of Setting Up A Cloud Kitchen in Dubai

6 Benefits of Setting Up A Cloud Kitchen in Dubai Currently, cloud kitchen or virtual kitchen has a popular demand in the UAE as food delivery is expected to have annual growth rate of 6% in the next 5 years. If you are wondering what is a cloud kitchen, here is the answer. For restaurant entrepreneurs, the cost of investment for setting up a full-fledged luxurious restaurant is quite high. However, in a cloud kitchen, they can get shared kitchen spaces with ultra-modern facilities at a minimal cost. Listed below are a few benefits of setting up a cloud kitchen in Dubai:   Save infrastructure and operational costs The infrastructure cost for a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Dubai is quite high considering the rental costs in a prime location with high footfall. In cloud kitchen, one can avail shared kitchen spaces along with the option for modifying the kitchen unit as per requirements. Quite often FOH (front of house) labor cost takes up to 50% of the average restaurant’s monthly revenue. This can also be saved through cloud kitchens.   Expansion Opportunities Once your brand is accepted by a wider audience, you can open multiple branches and expand it at a minimal risk.   Cuts down advertising costs As cloud kitchen has an online business model, you will receive orders mostly from third-party food delivery apps. So, all you need is to put in some efforts for creating an attractive menu and exciting offers. Social media marketing will also prove beneficial for marketing your brand.   Higher profit margin Cloud kitchens can leverage their profit margins for providing a better competitive pricing. They can price their menus more reasonably unlike traditional restaurants for building a loyal customer base.   Chances for experimentation Cloud kitchen business model allows restaurants to experiment with multiple concepts without a high expansion budget. One can operate brands by making use of the same kitchen infrastructure and marketing platform.   Minimal Closing costs Even if things do not work out properly as you have planned, business closure will also do not cost you much as expected. For traditional restaurants, closing the venture will lead to a major expense due to the massive investment involved.   If you are planning to set up a cloud kitchen in Dubai and is not sure about which location you should choose or have any query regarding the licenses required, Corpin Consultants can provide end-to-end assistance. Steps to Open A Franchise Business in Dubai

Steps to Open A Franchise Business in Dubai When a product or service becomes an extremely popular brand, investors who prefer to repeat the established concept get the franchise rights from a business owner for doing it under the same brand name and logo. This business model is referred to as franchising. Over the past few years, franchise business is increasingly becoming popular in Dubai with many domestic and international brands accepting this business model. In this article, we will discuss the steps for starting a franchise in Dubai. List down your interests and categorize the business you wish to enter. Check the existing franchise opportunities from local ads or inquire from your contacts. Make a list of franchisers based on various factors such as brand image, customer preferences, and quality of service. Contact them through phone or emails. According to UAE law, one needs to be a UAE citizen and require a local sponsor to start a franchise in Mainland. However, this law is not applicable if you are planning free zone company formation, but you require huge capital and good contacts for the same. Therefore, having a local sponsor is always beneficial. Sign an agreement with a prospective franchiser that suits your requirements. It is advised to consult a lawyer before submitting the contract to crosscheck all conditions properly. Prepare a business plan that includes all business summary such as competitor analysis, market survey, core competencies, financial plans, funding plans, etc. Register the franchise agreement in a UAE court and acquire the trade license for the business. Select the right location based on your target customers and regulations. Open your franchise business and do advertising parallel along with the help of the franchiser.  If you are planning to start a franchise business and need more information on this business model, Corpin Consultants would be happy to assist you in the entire process. All You Need to Know About e-Trader Licence in Dubai

All You Need to Know About e-Trader Licence in Dubai Ever thought of starting a small business from home on social media? Are you wondering if it is legal to sell online in the UAE? Dubai is one of the leading e-commerce hubs that have come up with several schemes and initiatives for fostering these economic activities. One such initiative is the e-Trader licence. What is e-Trader licence? The e-trader licence in Dubai was introduced by the Department of Economic Development (DED) for helping home entrepreneurs who are doing business activities over social media. It allows individuals and singly-owned businesses to sell their services and products on social media. e-Trader licence also strengthens the confidence of customers who shop online and safeguard them against purchasing any fake items on social media platforms. Is it mandatory to have an e-Trader licence in Dubai? If you are an individual who promotes or sells products and services through your social media accounts or a personal website, then you require an e-trader licence in Dubai. Home entrepreneurs who don’t have or require a physical office space are eligible to apply for an e-trader licence in Dubai. It is ideal for single-owner home-based businesses that don’t require a local partner and freelancers. An individual who applies for an e-Trader licence should be a resident of Dubai, have a valid Emirates ID and is over the age of 21 years. Advantages of having an e-trader licence in Dubai With this licence, individuals can legally promote and sell their products and services through their social media platforms or personal website. They can also feature their products and services on renowned e-commerce platforms such as Souq.com. Home business owners can also legally participate and reach out to customers at exhibitions and conferences. It will also protect their trade name and intellectual property. The DED also organizes training and workshops for e-trader licence-owners. Other conditions applicable Individuals with this licence in Dubai cannot open a physical shop or issue visas. If you wish to sell your products and services in some other Emirate other than Dubai, it is mandatory to obtain approval and a separate licence from the respective Department of Economic Development for that emirate. Non-GCC expats can sell professional services such as maintenance, repair, event management and photography services through their social media, but not physical products. You can find out more about nationalities eligible for the licence and what you can sell through social media while registering for the licence. If you are planning to obtain an e-Trader license, Corpin Consultants can ensure a hassle-free process with error-free documentation. How To Find The Ideal Free Zone For Your Company Setup In UAE?

How to Find the Ideal Free Zone for Your Company Setup in UAE?  Establishing a business in a free zone is an ideal option for foreign investors to have full control over their business and receive considerable tax exemptions. However, there are around 50 free zones in UAE and selecting one is a cumbersome task. Through this article, we would like to clear things for you so you can choose the best one for your business. Determine the type of business activity for your business Every free zone has its own set of specific activities that are allowed to be performed within the jurisdiction. The more activities you choose, the more your license will cost. One way to avoid this is by choosing several activities within one activity group and from the same license type, so you don’t have to pay any additional fees. Select the facility type your business may require A business will have many facility requirements depending upon its business activities. If your business requires meeting with clients regularly or you are planning to hire employees, it is better to opt for an office. Take into consideration the availability of these facilities as some free zones don’t offer them. Also, make note that a company registered within the free zone is only allowed to have a facility within the UAE Free Zone where it is registered. Select a free zone depending on the amount of capital you wish to invest For registering a company in the UAE, you are supposed to deposit a share capital amount which varies in each free zone. Free zone Company registration cost is another key aspect to consider. Check the licensing requirements Every free zone in the UAE has its own type of business licenses. There are three license types available in free zones such as trading license, professional license and service license. Some free zones also offer additional licenses based on the activities of the company. Check the exact requirements before selecting a free zone. Check the reputation of free zones with local banks It is better to seek the guidance of a business setup expert who can assist you in opening a corporate account in an established bank in the UAE. Every free zone has different procedures, requirements and licensing costs. UAE-Israel Accord Could Bring a New Dimension to Dubai Diamond Trade

UAE-Israel Accord Could Bring a New Dimension to Dubai Diamond Trade Right after the UAE and Israel normalized ties, traders in Dubai say that they are continuously receiving enquiries from Israelis, who usually trade in Belgium’s Antwerp – the world’s biggest trading center of rough and polished diamonds. Israeli diamond trader Zvi Shimshi flew to the UAE for opening a company in Dubai, a pivotal trading hub for the precious stones. He is among 38 Israelis whom the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), home to the Dubai Diamond Exchange, said have recently contacted for a business setup welcoming this new change in global trade dynamics. On August 29, 2020, the president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, issued Federal Decree-Law No. 4 of 2020, abolishing Federal Law No. 15 of 1972 on the Boycott of the State of Israel. The purpose of this abolition is to expand diplomatic and commercial cooperation between the two countries. As a result, Emirati citizens and corporations can now freely enter into commercial, financial, and trade agreements with Israeli corporation. It will also allow direct flights between the two countries. Dubai, with $21.2 billion in diamonds traded last year according to the DMCC, and Israel, with around $12 billion according to its exchange, are the Middle East’s main diamond centers. This initiative will be a game changing opportunity for any Israeli who wish to start a diamond business in Dubai. DMCC figures indicate that Dubai imported $4.2 billion of polished diamonds in 2018, down from $7.3 billion in 2012 – and exported $3.96 billion in 2018 compared to $5.35 billion in 2012. “Dubai has an opportunity to develop as a global diamond trading network for polished, and open up channels to the rest of the Arab world for diamonds and jewellery,” said Martin Rapaport, the chairman of Rapaport Group. For Israel, in which there is a substantial market for polished stones, Dubai offers closer links to India and connects it to the Arab world, where most countries still do not have formal ties with the Jewish state. “We see Dubai as a golden gate,” Israel Diamond Exchange president Yoram Dvash told Reuters. Ezra Boaron, who owns Israeli manufacturing factory Rising Star Diamonds, agreed: “The entire Arab world passes through Dubai. It’s a giant market.” If you are planning to set up your diamond business in DMCC, Corpin Consultants can assist you in every step of the incorporation process, so you can focus better on your business.
